Terms of Service — RosterSort

Last updated: October 15, 2026

By installing and using RosterSort on your Shopify store, you agree to the terms below. For the data RosterSort reads and keeps, see the privacy policy and data processing agreement.

Service description

RosterSort shows the store's customers sorted by name, finds customer profiles that are likely duplicates and lets you merge them from the Shopify admin. No merge happens without the merchant's explicit confirmation.

Merges

Merges are performed by Shopify (customerMerge API) and are permanent: the profile that isn't kept is deleted after its orders and data are moved into the other one. Duplicate detection is automatic and can be wrong: the merchant is responsible for checking each pair before merging it.

Subscription and billing

RosterSort offers a Free plan and paid monthly plans, billed by Shopify (Shopify Billing) in USD. The price and free trial length shown when you approve the charge in your Shopify admin are the ones that apply.

Nothing is charged during the trial. After it, the subscription renews every month until it's cancelled.

Cancellation

You can switch back to the Free plan from the app's Subscription page, or uninstall the app at any time. Cancellation takes effect immediately, under Shopify's billing rules.

Availability and liability

RosterSort is provided "as is", with no guarantee of continuous availability or of being error-free. To the extent permitted by law, the operator isn't liable for loss of data, sales or business resulting from the use of the app, including a merge confirmed by the merchant.

Suspension

The operator may suspend access to the app in case of abuse, fraud or breach of these terms or of Shopify's platform rules.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page shows the version in effect. Any price change still requires your approval in Shopify.
